Adoptable Retired Sled Dogs

While we are committed to caring for every one of our dogs through the highs and lows of their whole lives, we recognize that some would enjoy a cozy retirement home and a person/family to call their own. Retirement age varies by the individual dog but tends to start around age 8. Don't be fooled - these are still very active dogs and will need regular exercise and enrichment. Ziggy

Ziggy is an 8 year old beauty who has been a solid lead dog and an amazing mama to the next generation of sled dogs at Oregon Trail of Dreams. Ziggy is mellow and sweet, but will pop right up if you mention a walk! She is ready for a person or family to enjoy her golden years with. She would like to request a plushy couch and lots of outdoor adventures!

DaVinci

DaVinci is a 10 year old queen who is ready for her throne. Still full of sass and spunk, she'll want a moderately active retirement home. She was primarily a wheel dog for most of her career, and she knows she's got power! DaVinci loves to rest her chin on your leg and look longingly into your soul. She's a very charming lady and will win you over quickly with her big personality.
